Easter 2009

This year we spent Easter in Chicago.  Airawen has taken a huge liking to the piano.  It kept her busy for long periods of time.  She is so dainty with those little fingers.  Using only one finger on one key at a time.  Although, with the combination of mine and Tim's musical talent, the poor child doesn't stand a chance.

The big kids dying Easter eggs on Easter Eve.

Daddy taking Arie Alex around for the Easter egg hunt!  She loved picking up the eggs and putting them directly in her mouth.
Eventually she learned to put the eggs in the basket.

Arie Alex standing up all by herself again!  Doesn't she look so cute in her Easter dress?   Thanks again to the treasure trove of dresses at the Blazer's house.  Of course I went to all this time and energy over the Easter dress and shoes and then Arie Alex ended up sleeping through church and stayed home with Tim.  Go figure.
Happy Easter!

Arie Alex Halloween 2008

I just took some pictures of Arie Alex with the pumpkins out front for this Halloween.  We didn't dress up because we were driving to Chicago for the weekend.  We celebrated Tim's Dad's 60th birthday!

Chicago

Tim and I spent a weekend in Chicago a couple weeks ago. It was his brother's 30th birthday. Christine, Brian's wife, invited us all up to Chicago to surprise Brian the weekend of his Birthday. The boys played golf and the girls went shopping. Tyler and Graceanne showed us there Halloween costumes. Jake and Drew stayed back in Red Bud to play football on Saturday, and they were greatly missed! But we got to call them on the OnStar phone in the car. I loved it!

Christine and I got makeovers at a new store that was opening in Osego and then we all had an amazing dinner in the city. Christine me non-achoholic wine so that I could drink with everyone at dinner. She had chocolate bars with our names on cut out maple leaves at the table. She is so fun and thoughtful, and a great evening with the family.
