Balloon Race
Last weekend, Tim and I went with some freinds to the Great Froest Park Balloon Race. It was a beautiful day, with a lot of wind and we got some great shots of the balloon glow the night before the race and the balloons taking off on Saturday.
I have now been on three continents. I have also been on the Equator, with one foot in the northern hemisphere and one foot in the southern hemisphere. I've smelled the Sistine Chapel and walked through the Coliseum. I've drank wine in Piazza San Marco, and gazed in wonder at Michael Angelo's David. I've eaten goat, which pretty much tastes like pot roast, and is pretty good. I have my own computer for the first time in my life. (Tim bought me an iBook while I was in Africa.) I've learned at least 16 words in Swahili, and one word in Pocot. I've been to the edges of the earth to villages that aren't on the map and soaked in the the welcome, song and dance of a beautiful indigenous people. I am not above writing notes on my hand and I use sticky notes for everything. I study the CW network and pop culture in general and I love one man with my whole heart.
